Victoria Clarke – external relations consultant

Victoria Clarke’s 20-year career has spanned global health, governance and communications. She has technical expertise in gender equality, sexual and reproductive health, HIV and non-communicable diseases.

As co-founder and Director of ShandClarke Consulting since 2020, Victoria has advised NGOs working on global health, humanitarian response and gender equality on resource mobilisation and communications strategies. She also has a specialism in conducting governance reviews for Boards of Directors and has carried out 28 reviews since 2019.

Victoria has been the communications focal point at the Global Network of People Living with HIV, the South African Heart and Stroke Foundation and the World AIDS Campaign. In these roles, she has led the creation and implementation of communications strategies.

Victoria has lived in South Africa, the Netherlands and the US, and now lives in the UK. She holds a master’s degree from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
